Mario C. Lattuga

Associate

Mario is an associate attorney and practices in the firm's corporate, securities and litigation practices.

During Mario's first year of law school, he interned for the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office where he honed his research and litigation skills frequently appearing in court for criminal court proceedings. In his second year, he was an extern for an Intellectual Property and Patent Law firm where he successfully drafted and gained the approval of two patents. Mario also had the privilege of being accepted into St. John's School of Law Securities Arbitration Clinic representing under-served investors in securities arbitration claims before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Mario began his association with Wexler & Burkhart by accepting a position in its summer associate program in 2015. His excellence prompted the firm to offer him an extended internship during his third year of law school, and ultimately, an associate position at the firm. As an associate attorney in the firm's corporate, securities and litigation practices, Mario assists in counseling clients regarding corporate structure, governance, capital markets, FINRA arbitration and commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Lattuga is a member of the bar of the State of New York. Mario is a member of the American Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and Nassau Bar Association.

Mario attended the University of Rhode Island where he received a B.A. in Communications and Psychology. He received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law where he graduated top 1/3 of his class. During his time in law school, he was nominated President of the Admiralty Society and successfully authored various maritime law publications. Additional memberships included the St. John's Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute, St. John's Corporate and Securities Law Society, and the Intellectual Property Law Society.
